Hello, welcome to today's session. Today, we're looking at adding or creating the new VAT taxes in Built.

Locate settings from the Built menu, and from the setting, locate sales taxes.
Click on it(sales taxes) and then click plus tax button (+Tax) to add the new VAT standard.
Type in the name of Tax( Standard name and the display name as shown in the video)
Indicate the new tax rate (15%).

Indicate that the tax type is compound tax and also can now save the particular tax.
Now that the new VAT standard compound tax is created, you have to add the primary taxes, which are the COVID-19 levy, the NHIL, and the GETFund to it.

Click on add primary tax. Indicate the standard name and the display name as NHIL 2.5, and indicate the percentage of 2.5.

Save and add another primary tax as the GETFund percentage is still 2.5. And then save.
You can now add the Covid 19 health recovery levy.
The percentage of this particular tax is 1%, so you indicate that, and click on save. Now your new VAT standard rate tax is created.

You can move on to recording a new invoice and applying this particular tax. Now you have it, your new tax is displayed here for you nicely.
Thank you very much for your time. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Have a nice day.
