Hello everyone and welcome once again to Built Financial Technologies. Thank you for joining me again for another tutorial session as we'll be going through how to assess the payroll calculator.

We first start off by selecting payroll from the dashboard menu. Kindly, select the gross to net calculator.

A pop up appears and so you'll fill in the date or the period for which you want to apply this calculator. Kindly input the basic salary of the employee or whoever you want to calculate the net salary for. If there are any allowances, bonuses or reimbursement as well, you can input them over here. You also have to select whether the person or the employee is a resident of the country or a non-resident.

In addition, if you want to deduct the pension contributions and the income tax payments as well, you can toggle the buttons on. If you do not wish to do that, you can just leave them as they are and then just select calculate. So the calculations will appear on the right side of the popup and so you can see the basic salary, the taxable income, the allowances that we entered, the gross salary, and then the deductions as well, giving you the total net pay or the next salary for the employee.

Thank you for joining me today as this brings us to the end of the lesson. Have a good day and bye.
