Hello there, Good day and welcome to Built Financial Technologies. In today's session, I am going to take you through how to access the sales tax calculator on the built accounting platform.

To access the sales tax calculator, you click on products and services located on the built menu. You can access the tax calculator above.

Here, you select the particular type of tax that you want to make calculations on. So for the purpose of this exercise, we will use VAT standard. You continue by selecting the conversion process. You need this, whether you're converting from original amount to amount with sales taxes or you're converting amount with sales taxes to original amount.

With converting from original amount to amount with sales taxes, you indicate the original amount and the system will calculate to give you the amount with sales taxes and the tax amount. Also, you can select amount with sales taxes to original amount and indicate the amount with sales taxes and the system will also calculate and give you the amount.

You can do so with the other sales taxes. You just have to select a particular sales tax and indicate the conversion process and the amount involved and your calculations would be completed.
