Using POS

Hello and welcome to Built Financial Technologies. Thank you for joining me once again for another tutorial session. For today's session. I'll be going through how to use the POS on the built app.

Start off by clicking on income. Kindly select launch POS and then select on store front. So this shows you all the products or the items that you have in stock. And so if a customer is making purchases for any of this, you just select on the items that they are buying.

You can also edit the quantities over here and so if they are buying, let's say five of banana cake, you can adjust the quantity to suit that. Then just scroll up and then click on proceed to payment. And so if the business has set up the Built wallet, they can just select Charge customer and then enter the momo number of the clients or the customer. And then a prompt notification will be sent to the customer. They will approve it over their end, and then payment will be received by the supplier or by the business in their built wallet.

If payments were made by cash by the customer or any other form of payment method, you just input the amount that they have paid over here. So let's say for GHS 80.00, they paid GHS 70.00. You will record that and just click save sale. Okay, so as we have not set up a bank and cash account, you need to do that before this process.

So at your chart of account, you need to set up a bank account or a cash account over there to receive revenue from this sales. And so since I've not set up a, Bank and cash account, I'll just select an account from here to receive the money that I'm receiving.

So I'll just click on Cash on hand and then click on save sale and if this is connected to a thermal printer, you'll be able to print the receipt for this transaction.

Thank you for joining me once again for this session, and I hope you do have a lovely day. Good bye.
