Hello there, Good day and welcome to Built Financial Technologies. Thank you for joining me for today's tutorials. In today's exercise, I'm going to take you through how to record bank transactions on built accounting platform.

To record transfer transactions, you click on accounting, which is located on the Built menu. You proceed by clicking on bank transfers as shown here. To record a new transfer, you click on +new. Here we are going to have a look at three different scenarios of transfer transactions. That is, you can transfer from your cash account to your bank account, make a transfer from one bank account to another bank account or you can also make a transfer from a bank account to your cash account.

We would begin with making a transfer from your cash account to your bank account. You indicate the account from which the funds are being transferred, which will be cash account and indicate the account which is receiving the funds and in this case, we will use Ecobank. You indicate the amount being transferred, input the date of transaction and you give a brief description of the transaction. Then click on save.

The second scenario we'll look at is transferring from one bank account to another. Here you follow the same procedure. Indicate the account from which the funds are being transferred, and for this exercise, we will use UBA. To indicate the account receiving the funds, we use Ecobank as well. You indicate the amount being transferred and indicate the date of transaction. You continue by giving a brief description of the transaction. Then click on save.

The third scenario we will have a look at is transferring from your bank account to your cash account. Indicate the account the funds are being transferred from and we will use Ecobank for this exercise. Also, indicate the account receiving the funds which will be the cash account, record the amount and indicate the date of transaction. You go ahead to give you a brief description of the transaction and click on save.

Thank you for joining me for today's lesson.

Goodbye.
