Good day everyone, and welcome to Built Financial Technologies. Thank you for joining me for today's session. For today's lesson, we'll be learning how to add receipts to paid expenses.

So as we can all see, this is our Built dashboard, and we'll select expenses from the menu. Kindly, select paid expenses. So there are two scenarios in which you can add receipts to paid expenses. The first scenario is you can start by creating a paid expense and then adding the receipt, and then saving the payment. Or you can edit an already recorded paid expense and then add the receipts.

So we'll first start with the first scenario by creating a paid expense. So you select the +expense button, and then you fill out the details. You scroll up and you click on add attachment. So you select the receipts from your files or your downloads, and then you add it over here and so I have uploaded the receipt for this paid expense.

You can select save and add new if you have other paid expenses that you have to record. If there are no new paid expenses that you have to record, you can just select, save and Close, and then save the transaction. So as you can all see here, the attachment or the receipts has been added.

So the second scenario is to edit and already recorded paid expense and add the attachment.

So this gives us a history of all the paid expenses that we've recorded. So for 1st October’s transaction, if I want to add the receipts to it, I just select the transaction and the transaction details will pop up here and I would edit it. So in editing it, I don't have to start from scratch by entering the amount and everything.

I'll just scroll down and select add attachments, select the file from my files, and then just upload it and I'll just see the changes. So right now when I select the transaction again and I scroll up, I can see the attachments or the receipts added. So this is how you add a receipt to a paid expense.
