Creating an invoice

Hello there, welcome to Built Financial Technologies. In today's lesson, we are going to have a look at how to create an invoice using the Built accounting software.

On the dashboard, you click on income. You proceed to click on invoices as shown here. Now the system will give you an entire list of all invoices that you’ve already created. To create a new invoice,

you click on +invoice located at the far right end corner. Here, it will require you to enter all the details that pertains to the particular invoice.

You enter the invoice issue date and enter the date on which the invoice will be due. Then you add the particular customer to whom the invoice will be issued. You then proceed to add details of the transaction. You type the item here, the unit price as well and then you proceed to enter the quantity to be purchased. If there are more items being bought, you can add another item. If there are not, you click on save and your invoice has been successfully created.
